Weeks ago, a penis-shaped plant was reportedly spotted in La Union. The week before I left the country for SIM City, I spotted a similar-looking plant on my way down the hills of Tagaytay City.
It’s only about one and a half feet in circumference and just around two feet high with the top portion already damaged (perhaps by pesky neighborhood kids) and I’m not sure if this really is the Amorphophallus paeoniifolius being described in the news.
I also didn’t take note of the odor for I’m afraid it’s related to the Venus Flytrap species and it could snap my head off 
dude, ano’ng reaction ng mga residents sa halaman? did they try to harm it? alam mo nadi-dismaya ako sa attitude ng mga local residents minsan sa mga exotic plants & animals. minsan may naligaw na kakatwang ibon sa amin kinuyog ng mga residents. pinagbabaril. it made me sick to my stomach.
di ko lang alam, wala namang akong napansing mga nagkukumpulang usisero. pero yan nga, tapyas na yung top cone nung nakita ko. baka mga bata ang may gawa. nasa daan lang kase e. ewan ko kung nandun parin yung halaman hanggang ngayon.
