I have always wanted to go visit the Bicol region ever but whenever I would pack my bag for a solo backpacking trip to the province, something, such as the tsunami alerts earlier this year, would always come and prevent me from leaving. On my next return back to the Philippines, I will definitely pay at least a week-long visit to the Bicol region.
