Tamarind Leaves, Buds and Flowers
There’s a tamarind tree (sampalok) growing outside the walls of our villa so I took some young leaves for the sinampalukang manok I’m cooking for dinner. There wasn’t too many young leaves in the lower branches and the tree structure isn’t really good for climbing so I also took the flower and the young buds to have enough sour base for my dish.
